We are a small company located in the Rocky Mountain town of Boulder,
Colorado. Our goal is to improve the health and well-being of our
community by offering a balanced diet of fresh, tasty, whole grain
and other whole food products while providing educational materials
to aid in support of a healthy lifestyle. We are dedicated to making
a difference in the communities we serve.
We have our humble beginnings at 2520 North Broadway in Boulder. At
this site, we bring whole grains and other whole food products in
the back door, prepare these foods fresh in our bakery/kitchen including
stone grinding our own flour, and on the same day serve them fresh
to our customers. At our store you will find a veritable storehouse
of fresh, natural, nutritious whole food products including….
Fresh organic
coffee drinks;
Breads, tortillas
and pastas made from freshly milled whole grain;
Sandwiches
and wraps made from freshly milled whole grains and other whole food
products;
Soups made
from scratch with fresh vegetables and whole grains;
Bulk grains,
beans, seeds, and fruits available in whole form or freshly milled
or flaked (rolled); and much, much more.
Although providing fresh, natural whole food is one of our goals,
our primary focus is on getting the truth out. We thrive on educating
our consumers on the latest research clearly demonstrating the importance
of whole grains and other whole food products in promoting good health.
We fully believe that eating fresh, natural, whole grains and other
whole food products in a balanced manner will result in healthy bodies,
healthy minds, and healthy pocketbooks. Our enthusiasm stems from
the obvious simplicity of this approach to good health. Fresh, natural,
nutritious, whole, balanced diets require no special books, no special
supplements, and no special consultants! Combine this with a good
exercise regimen, and you're there!
We also encourage our customers to learn how to prepare their own
fresh, natural, whole foods in the comfort of their homes. This is
accomplished by supplying bulk products such as fresh grains, beans,
lentils, and seeds (whole, flaked, or milled in front of your eyes!)
and a generous supply of cookbooks from which to choose exciting new
recipes. We also provide baking demonstrations each week to educate
our customers on the fine art of baking bread.
Thank you for visiting our web site. Should you have a question, please
feel free to ask a specialist via our website. If we cannot adequately
address your question, we will point you to a resource that may help.
Our long range plans call for expanding our service to other locations
in the not too distant future. Until we do, however, if you are ever
in our neighborhood, please stop by Fresh Grains Bakery and Cafe!
